Consumatore:

Elevati di zuccheri nel sangue a digiuno e ridotta tolleranza al glucosio sono stati segnalati durante la niacina e niacinamide (nicotinamide), la terapia a dosaggi notevolmente superiori a quelli fisiologici requisiti. I pazienti con diabete mellito devono essere monitorati più attentamente durante la terapia con questi agenti, e le regolazioni di conseguenza nel loro antidiabetici regime.
