Consumatore:

L'uso di inibitori della HMG-CoA reduttasi inibitori è controindicato in pazienti con malattia epatica attiva o con inspiegabili persistenti aumenti delle transaminasi sieriche. Inibitori della HMG-CoA reduttasi sono ampiamente metabolizzato dal fegato. Diminuzione metabolismo del farmaco può portare ad accumulo e aumento del rischio di tossicità, tra cui anomalie biochimiche della funzione epatica e, raramente, ittero, epatite, cirrosi, steatosi cambiamento nel fegato, e necrosi epatica fulminante. La terapia con gli inibitori della HMG-CoA reduttasi inibitori devono essere somministrati con cautela in pazienti con una storia di malattia epatica e/o l'uso pesante dell'alcool. Un basso dosaggio iniziale può essere appropriato, e il monitoraggio clinico di fegato livelli di transaminasi in base al singolo prodotto, la confezione e l'etichettatura è raccomandato. I pazienti che sviluppano elevati di ALT o AST durante la terapia devono essere monitorati fino anomalie risolvere. Se un aumento superiore a 3 volte il limite superiore del normale persiste, deve essere presa in considerazione una riduzione del dosaggio o la revoca della terapia.
