Consumatore:

Tetracicline (ad eccezione di doxiciclina) sono eliminati per via renale di vario grado. Pazienti con compromissione della funzionalità renale possono essere a maggior rischio di tetracycline associata a insufficienza epatica e/o tossicità renale (aumento del BUN con conseguente azotemia, iperfosfatemia, e acidosi) a causa della diminuzione di liquidazione droga. La terapia con tetracicline deve essere somministrato con cautela a dosaggi ridotti in pazienti con insufficienza renale. Il monitoraggio clinico della funzionalità renale ed epatica si raccomanda un siero a base di tetraciclina livelli possono essere necessarie durante una terapia prolungata.
