Consumatore:

I diuretici tiazidici possono essere inefficaci quando la velocità di filtrazione glomerulare è bassa (velocità di filtrazione glomerulare < 25 mL/min), perché non dovrebbero essere filtrati in un tubulo renale, il loro sito d'azione. Inoltre, i diuretici tiazidici diminuire la velocità di filtrazione glomerulare e può precipitare l'azotemia nella malattia renale. Effetti cumulativi possono sviluppare anche perché la maggior parte di questi farmaci sono escreto immodificato nelle urine attraverso la filtrazione glomerulare e secrezione tubulare attiva. La terapia con diuretici tiazidici devono essere somministrati con cautela a dosaggi ridotti in pazienti con insufficienza renale. Se la funzione renale diventa progressivamente peggio, come indicato dall'aumento PANINO o i livelli di creatinina sierica, di una sospensione o l'interruzione della terapia con tiazidici devono essere considerati.
