Consumatore:

L'uso cronico di farmaci anti-infiammatori non steroidei (Fans) possono essere associate a tossicità renale, tra cui aumenti della creatinina sierica e BUN, necrosi tubulare, glomerulitis, renale, necrosi papillare, acuta, nefrite interstiziale, sindrome nefrosica e insufficienza renale. In pazienti con pre-renale condizioni cui la perfusione renale può dipendere la funzione delle prostaglandine, i Fans possono precipitare palese renale, scompenso via una dose-correlati inibizione della sintesi delle prostaglandine. I pazienti più a rischio per questa reazione includono pazienti anziani e in quelli con funzione renale compromessa, insufficienza cardiaca, disfunzione epatica, o di notevole volume e/o deplezione di sodio (ad es., a causa di diuretici). La terapia con i Fans devono essere somministrati con cautela in tali pazienti, e l'ipovolemia e l'iponatremia devono essere corrette prima di iniziare il trattamento. Il monitoraggio clinico della funzione renale è raccomandato durante la terapia, soprattutto in presenza di manifestazioni associati con un lieve azotemia (ad esempio, malessere generale, affaticamento, perdita di appetito). Se la funzione renale diminuisce o insufficienza renale si verifica, l'immediata interruzione della terapia con FANS di solito portano al recupero per il pretrattamento di stato. I fans non sono generalmente raccomandato per i pazienti con malattia renale avanzata, a causa della mancanza di informazioni da studi clinici controllati per quanto riguarda il loro uso in tali pazienti.
