Consumatore:

Sulfamidici può essere assorbito per via sistemica, quando applicato sulla pelle, degli occhi o delle mucose membrane. Una volta assorbito, sulfamidici e i loro metaboliti vengono eliminati per via renale. Pazienti con compromissione della funzionalità renale possono essere a maggior rischio di effetti avversi da sulfamidici a causa della diminuzione di liquidazione droga. Inoltre, i sulfamidici possono causare tossicità renale secondaria a crystalluria, tra cui uro - e calcolosi renale, nefrite, tossico, nefrosi, ematuria, proteinuria ed elevata BUN e creatinina. Idratazione e adeguata diuresi (> 1,5 L/die) deve essere mantenuto durante sulfamidico amministrazione. Test di funzionalità renale e delle urine dovrebbe essere effettuata regolarmente durante la terapia prolungata (> 2 settimane). Alcuni produttori di attualità sulfamidico prodotti non raccomandano l'uso in pazienti con alterata funzione renale.
