Consumatore:

Oftalmica dei recettori beta-adrenergici agenti di blocco (aka beta-bloccanti), in generale, non deve essere usato in pazienti con una corrente o passato di asma bronchiale o broncopneumopatia cronica ostruttiva. Per uso topico, i beta-bloccanti sono assorbito per via sistemica, con il potenziale per la produzione di clinicamente significativi effetti sistemici anche a bassi o non rilevabili livelli plasmatici. Nel tratto respiratorio, del beta-blocco può influire negativamente sulla funzione polmonare, contrastando la broncodilatazione prodotto da catecolamine stimolazione dei recettori beta-2. Anche se gli agenti beta-1 selettività (ad esempio, betaxololo) sono considerati sicuri nei pazienti con bronchospastic malattie, cardioselectivity non è assoluta e può essere perso con grandi dosi o i livelli plasmatici più elevati.
