Agenti antimuscarinici calo motilità gastrica e rilassare lo sfintere esofageo inferiore, che favorisce la ritenzione gastrica e possono aggravare il reflusso. Questi farmaci devono essere somministrati con cautela in pazienti con malattia da reflusso gastroesofageo o ernia iatale associata con esofagite da reflusso.
