Consumatore:

I corticosteroidi possono causare perforazioni gastrointestinali, emorragia e, di solito, quando somministrato in dosi elevate o per periodi prolungati. Essi possono anche mascherare i sintomi di complicanze come la peritonite o sepsi addominale. La terapia con corticosteroidi dovrebbe essere evitata o somministrata con cautela in pazienti con diverticolite, colite ulcerosa (se c'è la probabilità di un imminente di perforazione, ascessi, o altra infezione da piogeni), o di un recente anastomosi intestinale.
