Consumatore:

Alcuni dei recettori beta-adrenergici agenti di blocco (cioè, non cardioselettivi beta-bloccanti) sono controindicati in pazienti con asma bronchiale o con una storia di asma bronchiale o grave malattia polmonare ostruttiva cronica. In generale, i recettori beta-adrenergici agenti di blocco non deve essere usato in pazienti con bronchospastic malattie. Beta blocco può influire negativamente sulla funzione polmonare, contrastando la broncodilatazione prodotto da catecolamine stimolazione dei recettori beta-2. Se i beta-bloccanti è necessario in questi pazienti, un agente beta-1 selettività (ad esempio, atenololo, metoprololo, betaxololo) è considerato più sicuro, ma deve essere usato con cautela comunque. Cardioselectivity non è assoluta e può essere perso con grandi dosi.
